The Rumoured Samsung S7 Cowboy
In the past we have seen Samsung testing and displaying it's conceptual OLED screens, slowly trying to pioneer themselves as the "Guys who did it first" in the curved display industry. This is one industry that not even Apple tries to venture in because as they say "It's risky and it is a game changer". Samsung knows that it's customers are very loyal that's why they are unafraid to release their smartphones to the markets because they know that the markets might not handle change well but they will definitely buy. Studies have even shown that the crowd favourite Galaxy S series has sold more than 250 million units but these stats don't include the S6 and S7 since they still have yet to prove profitable and in-demand.
We are expecting the comapany to unveil its flagship in March 2016. The top Houdinis(smartphone magicians) there have been reported to be sorcering(making) the "Next Best Thing" as of this post. Some might say this is just a rumour, well judging that past rumours about the S5 and S6/edge have been true, this one might just as well be, after all, where theres smoke, theres usually a fire. Samsungs marketing plan to apparently release the S7 in the first quarter of 2016 is conivingly well thought out since they want to keenly watch what their rivals at the Apple company are going to release in their Apple Iphone 7 later this year. The Apple Iphone7 or rather 6s versions will be built to raise competitive edge with samsung galaxy's S6/Edge versions that are well crafted and already on the market. Samsung waits for the enemy to attack, when the enemy has exhausted it's arsenal, they switch from defence as to attack the enemy in his openings when they release next year.
The features are said by a source to be expectedly mind blowing, let me spare you the hiroshima and get to the spilling of the beans already. The S7 is going to sport a 64-bit processor, though it was not first in the game with this feature, it's great none-the-less. A huge ram(space) of 4gb will have your laptop of 2gb ram running with it's tail between it's legs. Let's face it, Samsung stank in the memory department compared to its competition Apple, but now it's said to wanna spice things up with 32,64 & 128gb memory, to me that's not spice it's hot sauce. Photo crazy? There'll be a 30mp camera and 10 mp just for you. Like the big screen? You will be ecstatic for days to know that the Electronic giants are going 4K, 5,5 inch Amoled Display with the S7. Samsungs waterproof smartphones look like dirt compared to Sony's Xperia range but they wanna go back and re-invent that with S7 having a waterproof design that is easy on the eye. The bells & whistles continue with 5g network connections, super wifi and also infrared sensor technology which is so 2006 but still we can live with it since it helps when you don't want to buy universal remotes that don't even work.
A high-end smartphone in all it's might that will probably set you back with rent if you do afford it. It will definitely be worth the hard earned buck if you ask me, the steeper the price the better the phone or you can stick with smartphones that are out of the game like Motorolas, dell and other smartphones fishes that are out of the water. You don't need to buy smartphones that have you regret not spending the money with the boys at the local bar or saving for the kids trip to disney land. Samsung is just like Apple, they create a flagship and make 3 versions of it, a cheap one, an affordable one and a highly expensive one. This means that you will be able to find one that fits your budget and at the same time being able to access some of the features, but as they saying goes "the sequel is never better than the original" . Get the family to contribute some funds, work an extra job, get a side business etc. whatever you do just get the darn phone. You can bid for it on eBay, get it for free on some offer sites. You don't want to get left behind the buzz. Be part of it by paying the price for it, it's worth the wallet damage.
My conclusion? We have yet to see Samsung reclaim it's number one spot but till then Apple is taking the lead. My thoughts? Samsung should also amp up it's marketing division if it wants to really compete with Apple. Also Samsung fans should stop waiting by Samsungs manufacturing doors just so they can get it first while it's hot, but then again they don't listen. Samsung, if you find these type of people squattering by your manufacturing site don't chase them away, give them a blanket, Starbucks coffee and an illegal connection to Tivo since they are probably your most loyal fans.
